Spain

I've been there once, nowt special, too many Brits. Surely you get on holiday to get away from it all
It depends where you go. Casa Toni is one of the finest restaurants on the Costa del Sol. Old town is largely tattooed Brit free, as they tend to congregate around the strip and the immediate area.
The beach however is massive. It's easy to avoid the tattooed chavs.

Beaches like that are ten a penny in any Med country.
No doubt.

The old town is a very nice place

I used to live in Moraira, half hour from Beidorm, it is like another world in comparison, even the Spannish hate Benidorm. Most of them who work there but live on the outskirts.

Agreed however you only have to travel 20 mins up the road to some beautiful areas that tourists never go to. Stunning beaches and lovely scenery
Santa Pola is an hour away, it's where the locals go.

My old man and his Mrs have a villa in Relleu. When we go out we like to visit cala de finestrat. A lovely little cove

We’ve travelled up and down the coast a bit. We like the little places best. El Campello is nice too. There’s a lovely Argentinian steak restaurant. The red they serve is from the owners village

The village of Relleu is very traditional and friendly

It's the Russian hit squads that you've really got to avoid these days!
It's enough to put you right off your cafe con leche.

There were lots of Russian run bars on the coast, the last time we travelled there. In particular Benidorm, you had two scrotes on a scooter, pulling up to boozed up Brit gangs, offering a free sample (coke), but the good stuff. Good sales folk them Ruskies.

No wonder you keep going back!

I'm not a big boozer and haven't touched recreationals for many years.
The lads always take the pìss when I sit and read my book all day. Until they see what's pitched up around me though....
