Not with reflected light you can't.
It's his fault for walking next to a puddle anyway.

Reflected light makes it impossible to judge the depth. Bang your brakes on and the guy behind will plow into you. Wish I'd been on the course.

There was a bloke like you there Joe :D He was complaining that speed trap was just where the 40 became 30 and what chance have we got ? They say ; you should look, be aware of your surroundings, read the road ahead, which would mean you would see the 30 mph signage, you should then reduce your speeed before you arrive at the 30mph sign in ANTICIPATION that you will be travelling at 30 mph as your front wheels pass the sign  they was deadly serious too :|

Fk I go like i'm driving a hearse now ~~

I slow down before I reach a 30 limit. I observe the speed limits.

Seem to remember, SSpark, from my driving test reasearch (many years ago) that you can claim back the cost of the dry cleaning bill, in this instance.. and seeing as you have the reg number... get yourself a barrister !!!

Got too much happening in my life to bother with that.

I know... that's how these idiots get away with it.

My advice is not to walk next to roadside puddles when it's raining.

It works for me.

Yes, thanks, joe. I had already thought of that.

I was walking close to the other side of the pavement to the kerb if you must know.

Then you wait until there is a gap in the traffic. Works for me.
