I have bought a stainless steel splashback to fit on the wall behind the hob it has a fibre board backing I was told by the store I purchased it at to glue it to the wall using No More Nails Im not sure about this, if it is correct has anyone got a superior glue or fixing (better than No More Nails)

gripfill or no nails will stick it but what happens if you ever want to remove it,no more wall,id try and screw and plug it

Thanks but I was told not to fix this type of splashback this way, other types of splashback in the store had been fitted the way you mentioned

you could use silicone to fit the whole thing, i assume the bottom is resting on a work surface etc

No More Nails is quite good. I overcame my prejudices and have used it for several awkward fixing problems. It's good on skirting boards and architraves.
