split post: leak

I have the same problem (leak) with with an Aquarius WD63. I took the back off and track the leak down to a hole in the plastic drum body, just under the bearings. It looks like the hole (about 3mm dia) is there by design, its not a crack. Water seaps out of it during the whole program. I have no idea what it´s purpose is, and i´m not sure whether I can try to block it up?
