SPLIT: Seat air con.

When purchased second hand 3 years ago at 18,000 miles (3 Years old) I took it back to the dealer 4 times.
Eventually it got to a "moderately acceptable level" but was never really cold and I gave up chasing back to the dealer!

For the last year it has not worked at all.

Now I have had a specialist air con engineer work on it and the routine service and re-charge has made only a marginal difference. He is talking "underperforming compressor" and suggesting a new compressor £6/700 but I am not convinced that that will be the solution.

Anyone else with any ideas?
