I was wondering what size wood people would recommend to place under the bath legs to spread the weight. Is 4x1 ok. Thanks for any advice

3"x2" less adjustment on legs.

Does not matter what you use really, any reasonable timber will do.

Thnaks what do you mean by less adjustmeant on legs?

The thicker the timber the less thread below the locking knuts.

So the legs are shorter, thus less movement when bath is leveled.

ok thanks. my bath panel is 520mm so I'l need the top off the bath to be 520mm from the floor. Is it still able to get this height with timbres under the legs. Providing I put the feet on a low setting. Thanks

ok one more question do you usualy place the bath in mark wear the legs are then take it out and screw the wood in place. Or is it easyier to srew the bath feet to the wood before placing it in.

I do it by measuring

If your doing it DIY then do it your way ;)

Remember I do it for a living and speed is of the essence, otherwise I make no money. You have the luxury of time. (As long as the little lady will give you that is  )
