Sprusing up previously stained doors

Hi

We have several stained doors in our flat, and they have faded in places, and look a bit naff, can I use a polish or something similar to even up the colour over the whole door in each case?

I really don't want to sand them down and restain and can't afford to buy and hang new doors, just looking to tidy up what we have.

Any advice would be greatly appreciated :0)
