spur cable type?

I am trying to spur from a double powerpoint socket to a new double socket, in the lounge.

I dont know what cable size I have on the ring, except the MCB is 30amp for the whole lounge.

What size cable do I need for the spur?

2.5mm² (which is the same as on the ring)
