can you spur off a spur, and is this within new regs or not.
 
yep thats still allowed.

each spur should only supply one single or double socket or one fused connection unit. total spurs should not exceed sockets on the ring (one of the stranger requirements of BS7671). Multiple spurs starting from the same point is an unclear case, its not mentioned in the regs at all (e.g. they don't say you can do it but they don't say you can't either).
 
Don't understand the question. What is it you want to do?
 
You cannot spur from a spur as the 2.5mm cable is not rated for the combined potential loading of several sockets...

If you spur with a Fused Connection Unit then you may spur as many sockets as you wish from the load side of the FCU!
