SpywareTerminator is freezing x64 Windows 7

Have just installled on a Packard Bell EN TM80 laptop to enhance the protection offered by Avast.


Sadly, Spywareterminator is causing the laptop to freeze after about 20 minutes.

Went to msconfig and deselected Spywareterminator in startup and now there's no freezing without Spywareterminator running.


Anyone running Spywareterminator with x64 Windows 7 without this freezing problem?

Sadly SuperAntispyware doesn't have real time protection on freeware use.

I solved the problem with Spywareterminator by installing W7 32bit.

Seems there's a bug between Spywareterminator and W7 64bit ?

I've held Snapfiles in high regard for a lot of years.


I've used Avast with SWT for several years and its kept my PC well.
