Family member has had approval for fitting a square bay window to their property.
They are having a pitched roof on top of the bay (around 1.8m wide and 750mm deep).

The window set (2 sides, 1 front) also has what looks like 4mm, aluminium square box tubing inside the corner sections, to be knocked on to the windows to provide corner support.

Was intending to put a wall plate on top of installed window and built small pitched roof.
However, due to the side being also being windows (no brick walls), there appears to be no way to put restraint straps on... what is the normal way of doing this.

Normally you would specify the bay to come with a steel ring beam. This is screwed into the frames which provides restraint and takes the weight of the wall plate.
