Squeaking Windsceen Wipers

Do any of you learned chaps know how to cure windscreen wipers that squeak and squeel as they wipe across the screen.....Its really annoying, the only way to stop it is to use t he washer jets at the same time.....I have cleaned the screen and the wipers, but to no avail

change the blades all together or you could take them off, leave them soaking in some warm soapy water for a while then rinse and re-fit them, personally though i would change them

Best to change them and get complete arms and dont be tempted to just replace the rubber strips in the existing ones. If you do that they are never as tight and tend to flex too much and make any squeaking far worse.
