Squeaky suspension

Hey everyone,
Hoping for some collective wisdom here!
My car has developed a really annoying squeak from the suspension, particularly noticeable over bumps and uneven surfaces. It sounds like it's coming from the front, but hard to pinpoint exactly.
I took it into my local garage, explained the issue, and they had a good look over everything. They checked all the usual suspects – bushes, ball joints, springs, shocks, drop links – and came back to me saying everything looked perfectly fine, no play or wear anywhere.
Their suggestion to stop the squeaking was to "squirt the bushes with silicone spray."
Has anyone else ever been given this advice, or tried it themselves? Does it actually work, and more importantly, is it generally considered good practice? I'm a bit hesitant to just go spraying things if it's not a proper fix or could cause other issues down the line.
Any thoughts or experiences would be greatly appreciated!
Thanks in advance,

I've had the same on my ULEZ compliant scrap for over a year.
Mine happens when I pull out, usually on full throttle to get a decent acceleration.
I promised myself to spray old engine oil all over the suspension one day.
Silicone spray is too costly and I don't want to upset the emperor with gases...

Could be that some component that has a metal collar embedded in rubber such that the two are supposed to be stuck together and the rubber be the thing that twists, has reached end of life and now the metal rotates inside the rubber instead, generating the squeak

Really difficult to test for as the forces required to flex the rubber are considerable and not easy to apply when it's in the air, unless you disconnect the suspension springs, and playing parts darts could turn out expensive

If you can get to a situation where you can generate it with the car parked you stand a better chance, otherwise it's maybe a case of spraying one thing at a time and going for a drive

Look for places where metal is rotating inside of rubber as a focus first
