Hi all,

One of my rads (right by a bed so extra annoying) makes a sound of water squirting when heating. I have bled it regularly, and the system itself has had a recent thorough powerflush and gets nice and hot.

Standard Potterton Suprima 50 (yuck) boiler system - The rads are old, and they don't have TRVs.

Any suggestions on anything DIY I can do that don't involve taking the rad off to flush it individually or replacing?
many thanks
Rob

Try adjusting the lockshield valve a fraction (counterclockwise) . That's the one without the knob on it. You may need a pair of pliers.
