A slight tangent. How safe is it to use jet skis in the middle of the Channel. I have only ever seen them being used close to shore.
 
Doesn't seem good does it, paying traffickers to cross the channel, then lying to rescuers that they are in distress, It all seems pretty much a premeditated crime to begin with rather than a genuine plea for help.

The only way for them to reach UK is by small boat. Then they have the right to apply.
