Ssssssshhhhhh, don't mention Reform.

Maybe in law things are legal unless they are illegal.. oh wait.. yeah thats how it works.
The famous quote comparing UK and French legal systems, attributing to Winston Churchill, is often a paraphrase of Victor Hugo, not Churchill himself. The quote states: "In England, everything is permitted except what is forbidden. In France, everything is allowed, even what is prohibited".
Victor Hugo.

You've conflated the discussion about rescues and pushbacks.
Signs of desperation, me thinks. :ROFLMAO:
nope

I've stated the same thing consistently.

UK has the power to refuse a boat load of illegal immigrants from entering UK waters.
UK or any other vessel has is required to rescue drowning people at sea, in French waters and France has no power to refuse to allow them to disembark in France.

a boat load of illegal immigrants, they have no protection as refugees until they have claimed it.
you cant determine if a person is an illegal immigrant or not until they are interviewed and at such time that can claim asylum

so you are arguing a theoretical position that cant exist in practice

your creeping up to him is cringe...........supporting his lies

poor old Motorbiking has got destroyed in every point he has made

I wonder what nonsense he will come up with next

Your current desperation is trying to argue that 12M is not between 30 and 70ft.

Correct.
Your proposals and scenarios ard a confused jumble of unworkable nonsense. None of it serves as a deterrent. No one takes you seriously with your disjointed ramblings.
I disagree! Dick Turpins believes every word that mbk utters. :ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO:
But then he believes politicians as well. :ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO:

If we are paying France millions of pounds to stop illegal crossings, then France should have money deducted for every person that reaches the UK. £10k. The same as a lorry driver would pay per illegal that are found in their truck. I’m sure the French would be a bit hotter on stopping them than they currently are.

a boat load of illegal immigrants, they have no protection as refugees until they have claimed it. This is well established in law. Plenty of illegal immigrants who do not claim asylum are prosecuted for immigration offences, plenty of people traffickers of illegal immigrants are jailed and plenty who steer the boat, are jailed.

40ft - is between 30 and 70ft. Even you can work that out.
40ft is the maximum size boat, they range from 6 to 12 metres from what I have read

your range only overlaps slightly

you were bullsh1tting on the size

Far rage has announced some fairly left wing policies/soundbites which Kieth must respond to, tne only thimg missing is the hi vis jacket. Labor should be shifting to tne left before its too late
That ground is inhabited by the Lib Dems, (and SNP) and the Greens currently.

they would have to agree to such a deal

they wont

the deal is: we pay France a load of money, they make some efforts to reduce it, or we could pay France no money and they would let more come across.

wheres the money?

Farage has got loads of magic money trees because he can make up any old BS, he isnt in power

Starmer is living with reality: ie the sh1t the tories left after salting the earth

Any vessel carrying more than 12 passengers is a commercial vessel and must comply with commercial regulations. All vessels must file before departure and report prior to crossing at the 12 mile limit. Which in dover/caliais is still in French waters.

It will therefore be obvious that a boat looking like this heading for UK waters, that is not transmitting AIS, has not filed paperwork and has not called in at the 12 mile limit. is.... not an engaged in innocent passage.

agree - they can prevent them from entering UK waters
What they gonna do, build wall?
Talk about going round in circles.:rolleyes:

So they need to do it carefully and slowly.
It's illegal, even if there were no accidents, it's still illegal to intentionally endanger the safety of another vessel at sea.

You've been told that is nonsense - would you like the exact long and lat of the border? It is as accurate as the boundary of your house on the Land Register title deed.
Do they have laser levels that work at sea?
Or do they still use pieces of string?
