It's been a near disaster for them, started by their ludicrous decision on the winter fuel payments. And when I say ludicrous I'm not referring to whether it was a good idea or not, I'm referring to the fact they were THICK not to realise it would go down like a ton of bricks. If they wanted to do it, they should have scheduled it for year two of their tenure, thus waiting to see how things were going with the electorate in year one.

I still cannot believe they did it so soon.
governments that win a large majority do tend to front load the bad stuff at the beginning

thats not a bad strategy

the Winter fuel payment as it stood was wrong and it needed changing, but Labour should have done it differently

I dont understand why they set the bar too high originally and have now set it too low.........

He's clever and knows how to end up with what he wanted in the first place.

It was planned whilst in opposition and the cynically implemented it straight away in the hope that the electorate would forget in 5 years time but because of the stupid mistake that is now 4 years and people will not forget
hilarious how you moan about a party being cynical yet you support Reform :ROFLMAO: :ROFLMAO: :ROFLMAO:

Farage is using illegal immigrants as a common enemy to ramp up hatred and win voters...........cynical

Since Labour have been in government enforced returns are up 24%

Since Labour have been in power returns of criminals up 23%
Since Labour have been in power, illegal immigrants are on the increase. Why is that?

Oh, and you keep asking why 2022/2023 was a bumper year for illegal boat crossings. The chart below says why. Tories put a stop to it.

Nonsense.

You are a right wing grifter, you spend your time political point scoring instead of debating details and facts.

There has been a significant increase in the number of benefit claimants, PIP claims has doubled and is set to keep on increasing, the benefits bill isn’t a cut but an attempt to slow the increase.

Lots of Labour MPs are not supporting the bill because of the changes it wants to make on the eligibility scores, which would leave too many claimants in dire circumstances.

Labour MPs are putting the concerns of their constituents first, which is exactly how our representative democracy should work.

But you don’t care about facts, you are only interested in point scoring and dishonest grift.
how do you get away with your post?
I have never swindled or grifted in my life. You are a liar.

The rebels don't want to lose their seats. It's that simple. You seem to be saying that Labour's flagship policy was rubbish but nobody was interested until defeat was likely.

Some of them are. A lot more of them are not, including those at the very top. More tax rises needed now, something I thought they were stopping?
Let's vote for everyone having more money. Oh wait, someone has to pay for it. Lets tax those who don't vote labour.

and Notch thinks labour are doing a great job.

I never realised how utterly stupid the British population is

but people like you are showing me how easily people are brainwashed by the lies of Reform

Aveatry is a massive Reform party supporter but is too cowardly to admit it
I told you many times before I am not a reform supporter - just because I dont like labour - neither do you by your own admission as you just see them as the least worst option.
If you only support labour as a least worst option who do you really support.

I get your point, however it's only a good strategy if things pick up over the coming months and years. So far, and yes it's early days, that's not happening for them.

Labour, LABOUR, seen to be targeting old folk and folk on benefits.

No wonder folk are thinking 'MMmm, I might give Reform a go.'

I keep seeing quotes of "this just isn’t Labour"
