Hi guys :)

I have bought a length of stainless steel tube for a cold water supply to a shower. I will only be using the tube where it is on show in the bathroom.

Do I need any special fittings with it being stainless steel, or will standard brass compression fittings be ok?

I don't know which shower the customer has bought, but some have a push fit supply connection. Will this grip the stainless pipe ok?

Also is it ok to cut with a pipe cutting wheel or will it damage the blade?

No, not allowed.

Most of us would use chrome plated copper. You have to remove all the chrome to use pushfit, and its best to use any lock ring they provide in the system.

Why Stainless Steel?

I went for chrome plated copper, but stainless was all they had

I think they are getting a mira sport (but not certain) Do you know if they are pushfit or compression fitting?
