is there a way to work out what power a cooker is going to draw
cookers that i have looked at do not seem to tell you much most just tell you that the oven draws around 1kwh

cookers that i have looked at do not seem to tell you much most just tell you that the oven draws around 1kwh

Normally it should have the value either in the back or in the manual.
Sometimes it will be written as, for example, 4.3kW or in Amps e.g. 19A or It might say the recommended protection device required and/or the cable size for the installation.
