Today Trump confirms what we already feared - through Starmer's incompetence, the relationship between the US and the UK - once considered "special" - is now "not good".

Surely no Prime Minster can survive single-handedly destroying the relationship with our closest ally and friend?

I don't want to live in a country governed by the US. I simply want to live in a country that is competently governed, with a leader that understands the importance of working with our allies, not needlessly alienating them.

We can only hope that the damage is not permanent, and that Nigel can repair it.

Nige does.

Don't vote for Brexit then....oops.

I doubt our allies will ever trust that traitorous treasonous slimy toad ever again.

Definitely not the US, they've threatened to invade their allies and have shat all over the special relationship.

The ****e relationship is between burger man and the UK, not the US and the UK. He will be gone soon. We will meet again.

He’s doing well, and I’m no fan.

Imagine you’re the head of the armed forces and the PM says do whatever Trumpf wants

You’ve obviously not listened to what Nige has said. Nige is only interested in what plays to his potential voters.

The only way to repair the damage is to reverse brexit which good old 'gas 'em all, hitler was right' nige engineered...

And chuck out the local deform racist/fascist councillors who are wrecking everything they touch.

From Trump's perspective it's not good, and any of his brown nosed minions.

I tend to agree with many of the experts and talking heads. In reality, under the surface, most of the day to day collaborative working continues. Most of the people involved in said work will still be getting on perfectly well with each other.

What's irking Trump is the fact we've not just bent over for him.

I have little time for Starmer, I have even less for Trump.

When did Brexit, as voted for, ever happen? I'm all for the single market, but other than that, the eu offered nothing, and nothing much has changed since "Brexit".
You believe nothing much has changed?

Then I guess you must live with those unicorns in the sunny uplands they told you about

And strange how brexiteers ignore the fact that the EU offered exactly what was required when dealing with a sovereign country leaving the EU...

Terms that were btw drafted by all EU countries including the UK...

And brexit did happen exactly as it said on the ballot paper, which I believe simply stated do you want the UK to leave the EU or remain in the EU...

Did you see a different question on that ballot paper?
