Start Tiling. Before or After fitting worktop.

Hello,
need to tile the small area between kitchen worktop and wall units.

Should i tile before fitting the worktop. So w/t pushes up against tiles. Or afterwards, so that tiles stand/rest on w/top. ???

after. you may need to chop into the plaster to get a straight edge as the wall may not be perect and it gives you a little more leaway. will also give a better waterproof join as the tiles will overlap the worktop
