Hi all

Can anyone help me with the right terminology / requirements / a source for the following.

I want those halogen spotlights that hang from a steel wire cable that is rigid across the ceiling (it is to cover a conservatory roof).

There are two steel tracks and the halogen lights sit on them and take their power from the steel cable.

Any ideas?

Darren

I'm sure i've seen some on long solid metal bars in the past.

So I got the lights and transformers from a company I googled - spark came round this am to do first fix on plumbing (he seems to be a spark and a plumber) - anyway, he has given me the option of either building a concealed access under the window sill of the conservatory to house the 10ommX100mX100mm transformers (2 of them) or to put them under the floor boards in the bedroom adjacent to the conservatory.

I like the idea of hiding them away under the boards.

What do people think?

Fine if you make a access point for them for service and in later life replacement, stupid if you nail the boards down, laminate and move.

How hot do they / will they get ?
