Had French doors installed over 5 years ago - they put in brick & stone steps up from the patio and these meet the house bricks just at the DPC line.

I'm potentially going to redo our patio so thought I'd look into remedying this at the same time.

We got the DPC done just after moving in and I think those holes are from that (just left of top step - they carry on to the right and round the corner).

Damp issues are minimal - just a bit either side of the door which we wipe away.

Obviously when selling it'll get flagged but after so long with no major issues would it best just to leave it be?

I don't think the steps and DPC are a problem looks more like you are getting water into the cavity if anywhere. May just be condensation
