Hi

I'm about to build a wardrobe. I plan to use white melamine chipboards for everything including the doors.
On top of these doors, i'd like to 'glue' decorative sheets of glass- lacobel to cover them up.
Is this recommended? and would silicon do the trick?

cheers,
Xav

Silicon would not be strong enough to hold the glass on such a smooth surface. Not sure really waht would be strong enough. I know you can get mirror adhesive but its the surface that you are sticking it too thats the problem.

I would have thought that the right types of silicone, especially the silicone based mirror adhesives would have been ok, afterall silicone adheres to glass which is far smoother than melamide?

Other than that there are the SikaFlex EBT type products.
