Double sided tape- not from a pound shop.

No, it had a tab protruding from one end.
And I had already stuck down two other strips using the same method.
The peel off on this one came off very easily and neither it or the strip was more than very slightly tacky.
Any recommendations as to the type of tape as there's lots out there.
