In my conservatory I have a largeish (approx 15cm x 2m) piece of flat upvc trim which covers up what I believe are the roof supports fixed to the house wall. The bottom edge seems secure, but I can't get the top to stay fixed. (I can't see how the bottom edge is fixed without removing it, which I am loath to do.

I have tried hotmelt glue, double-sided sticky foam and home-made thick foam pieces with doublesided tape on them.

They work ok for a while but as soon as the sun comes out, the expansion of the plastic trim is too much for it.

Short of screwing it into the metal roof support, any other ideas?

it should click on one way or another, they are tricky though because if one bit isnt located right the you have trouble

Needs a good clean with CT1 and then one of their adhesive sealants.
If its a clip in system a rubber mallet will help.

Do you know of a national chain that sells CT1? Online costs too much delivery.

The low modulus neutral cure silicone (great big gobs of it). Did the trick, thanks everyone.
