I am trying to identify the actually problem with my underfloor heating. The system runs absolutely fine intermittently, and at other times, runs perfectly, except for the small matter of n otcalling for hot water to heat it! I have localised the problem to the motorised valve, and have found that a tiny move of the lever underneath the valve (only a mm or so, not across to manual), there is a feint 'click', and the valve then opens, and calls for heat. At the end of the cycle it shuts fine, just doesn't seem to open 100% of the time, is this a common problem? And is the solution a new valve/actuator/repair of existing?
