Not sure how best to describe the problem, but the hot water side of my mixer tap doesn't work how it should.
When undoing, it has about a full turn of doing nothing, then works as expected. To do it up, you have to do it really tight to stop it dripping.
Also, it sometimes leaks from the base of the tap (as marked in the photo) when the hot tap is turned on. Not a horrendous amount but it's definitely not right.
I've changed the washer and reseated it as I thought a worn washer may be the problem, if anything it's made it worse.
Any idea what I should be trying next? Preferably not replacing the tap.
