Hi

I am fitting new sink and new toilet in en-suite in an extension, the question is I think I need a stop water fitting on the toilet for waterstandards, can this be fitted anywhere along the pipe or does it have to be within a certain distance of the toilet?

Then with the sink, do you also have to have a stop valve on hot and cold, and if this is the case can I use the flexible hose with a stop valve built in?

I need to get this right as building regs may pick up on anything not right.

Thanks

Using the flexi hose with integral isolation is OK, for the toilet question, fit the same sort of flexi. no problem.

it is good practice to have service valves near appliances, ie your W.C. and basin hot and cold pipes. Make sure they are accessible.
