Storm damage or new roof failed its first proper test?

Sincere thanks to everyone for your input!

I'm just a householder feeling a bit hard done by but with little knowledge of roofing. It really helps that people who know what they're talking about also believe that I'm being fobbed off.
 
Quick update - I sent the photos off to the roofer along with the general consensus I gained from here and he has changed his tune. He has agreed to come over and inspect shortly and admitted that there are clearly some shortcomings in the work carried out by his 'boys'
