I have a Stoves 600EF fitted oven in my kitchen which, I guess, is about 12-13 years old, like the rest of the kitchen.
A few years ago it developped an intermittent fault with the timer module, which fails in such a way so that the oven cannot be used. We had it replaced at the time, but the other day it behaved in a similar way and I can't help worrying that it may be on the way out again.
We hardly ever use the timer or alarm functions, and will probably be replacing the whole lot in a few years anyway, so in advance of it going down (especially given that it could be in the middle of Christmas Dinner or something), is there any way of 'wiring round' this module so that it no longer locks out the rest of the oven when it doesn't work ??
