Strange brush

Picked up a strange wallbrush @ boot sale.... like new but . Hamiltons 10 ounce 7671 2 clumps of bristles bound with copper . any ideas

If its a small brush it would have been a washing down brush and if it were a larger one probably a distemper brush. just had a look in one of my old books from the 1950's

Distemper Brush Then Seems good on ceiling coving, when you get used to the long bristles.
