That's what I was told. But cow horn handles is a clearance strimmer. But the more common d handled one its better with normal strap. Do u disagree? Cos I gotta choose. I got a d handled one
D handled machines can be used with either harness as one hand is on the D and the other further back. With cow horn machines you must use a harness as the machine is unusable otherwise. The choice has to be up to you, but its the harness for me - best try both and see which suits you best!

Out of interest how do you cut edges with a strimmer? I heard it's much quicker than with shears. I have been turning it on its side and cutting overhanging grass scuffed some bits at times though
