Stud wall across steel beam in loft

Hi,

Any advice would be great.

I am trying to create a stud wall across a steel beam - please see attached picture.

I have added noggins to the roof joists and I dont really need to attach to the steel beam.

Is there anything I need to do or just run the stud wall head plate over it?

The steel beam is irrelevant regards the stud wall - if what I'm seeing his the header plate.

Thats correct, thats the header plate running across the steel beam. Thank you.
