hi all ive built a stud wall and plaster boared it taped the laps up. its now ready for some plaster there is some gap between the boards up to 8mm in patrs, i think this is due to the stud work being warped or something (yeah i do plumbing). the board is up to wood work sort of set back into it soo it will leave like a boarder around the platsed wall (i hope) question is should i bond it 1st to try and get it level ? what should i be using for finnish ...... i hate plastering !

not sure i understand the border thing entirely, but fill gaps with bonding, you can use bonding to dub out/level out areas that need it, scrim tape joins and edges, skim... personally i prefer to staple scrim tape, then skim. As for finish, id use multi finish, but others will prefer board finish..

hope that helps and sorry if ive missed the point
