Hi,

Currently I have a 14m2 ground floor room with an extremely rough concrete floor which I need to raise by around 25mm and smooth so its level for laminate. Im going to assume there is no DPM also so what would be the most cost effective solution here? I already have a price of £560 for mastic asphalt installation but I wonder if there are cheaper options. The floor needs to come up 25mm to be level with the next room after recently knocking a wall down.

Thanks

Personally I can't see synthapruf liquid DPM followed by a screed coming out much cheaper. Assuming the asphalters are a proper company doing this specialized work. Others may have different ideas.
