the vast majority of things you "see" out of the corner of your eye are, what "in the trade" are called floaters, or in other words coagulation of vitreous humour. That said whilst I don't believe most of it, I keep an open mind.

You can see 'floaters' across the centre of your eyes as well as in the corner Ed. As you say, they are little 'bubbles', for want of a better word, that float in the eye fluid. At one time I was seeing quite a lot of them and the optician explained they were nothing to be overly concerned about.

yeah, true, but people oft think they see things out of the corner of their eye, when really they don't. and as you say they are natural, and form and dissolve over time. My sister is an opthalmic optician BTW

Yes, usually they are nothing to be concerned about. However, I have had iritis and a consequence was the production of floaters, so they can be indicative of something that needs medical attention (although admittedly with iritis there are other symptoms as well). If in doubt, see your optician.

Edit: When I had iritis I could see lots of ghosts all over the place!

Begs the question though...

When in bed with your wife or partner, going like the clappers............
are there 30 odd ghosts all standing over you peering into every nook and cranny.????

Our dead parents and nans could be watching us.

Thanks for that LMB, I will try NOT to remember that. It's bad enough when the cat is staring at you.

Peoples minds are constantly thinking and working. Mostly this is about stuff relevant to the moment but in between it can be all sorts of random thoughts and feelings. We aren't normally affected by these thoughts but every now and again one conincides with a significant event. The importance you put on that coincidence depends on the event, the type of person you are and your disposition at the time.

I have always been sceptical about things relating to the paranormal UFO's etc. I'm the sort of person who will try and find the real explanation of things.

Last year I was sat downstairs watching telly, about 1am. Heard the missus move around upstairs then proceed to come down the stairs, thought nothing of it.

Our front door has a small window looking into the porch, when missus comes down she has a habit of always looking out of the window....shes not nosey

I was expecting her to walk into the living room, but thought shes looking out of the window quite a long time. I opened the door into the hall way and there was no one there, I went upstairs to the bedroom and she was fast asleep in bed, in a deep sleep!

Thats the only experience I have had myself, I could not explain one bit!

She pretended to be asleep after telling her lover it's safe to have it away on his toes..... and nearly got caught.
Case closed.:D :D
