Western Europe and America comprises of around 10% of the global population, Russia is a smaller percentage.

the reason Putin's empire invaded Ukraine is that it is near to Russia, and Putin considers that nearby countries do not have the right to independence and self-determination.
Putin wants to recreate the great Soviet Union and the Tsarist Empire ruled by and for Russia.

Perhaps you can tell me what’s wrong with Ukraine wanting Ukraine schools teaching Ukrainian?
Would you prefer it if English schools taught German as a first language.
