Surely they are not allowed to sell these?

They look the same to me. I won't be getting one in a hurry.

Why shouldn't they sell them ? Sad story but he used the wrong tool fir the job.

Horses for coarse's and a saw blade aint made to go in a grinder, I have had kick backs with angle grinders and that was using the proper discs!! But I have been in control of the machine and always respected it..

When I use grinders I grip them so tight my arse cheeks clench.

I also can't see how anyone would make this mistake.

I think he took the risk and paid the price

Using angle grinders can be a very risky endeavour if you don't use the right equipment - If I'm being honest you get what you pay for, the more expensive angle grinders are normally much safer such as: http://www.screwfix.com/p/makita-dga452z-4-angle-grinder-18v-bare/89836 or http://tools.jcb.com/Home/Products/Power-Tools/Grinders/JCB-720W-Angle-Grinder.aspx

Not sure how that one is safer than the £20-30 quid ones I buy. The only bonus I can see to that one is the body is slimmer so it's easier to hold. That is the one thing that annoys me with grinders.

£130 for a grinder is ridiculous though.
