Water System is Open Vented.

I am installing a new shower pump and recently purchased a Surrey Flange with 1" male fitting and 2 x 22mm outlets. When I removed the insulation on the water cylinder, I noticed that the fitting on copper water cylinder is also a 1" male fitting.

Have I purchased the wrong flange? If not, is there a way of 'adapting' the fitting?

Many thanks in advance for the support.

fit a york flange that is a 1" female to fit a 1" male cylinder
or can you not remove the fitting to screw the surrey in.

Thanks for the quick response. Checked the cylinder and unfortunately the male fitting is molded into the cylinder and therefore not 'unscrewable'.

Looks like I am buying a York flange!

Thanks

Or fit an essex flange on the side near the top of the cylinder.
