That looks crap, a lead one would have been better, I guess he used whatever he could be bothered to get hold of more easily.

It is crap. They have not supported the lead slate and that's a lovely place for birds, squirrels or insects to get access to the loft. It looks like the slate should have been tucked under the 6th row of tiles, not put in that low.
