I had a standard wooden hinged door that was eating up a massive amount of swing space. It always got in the way and made the room feel incredibly boxed in. I decided to take it off the hinges and replace it with a frosted glass sliding door instead, bought from durovin bathrooms.

Honestly, the difference is night and day. Because it slides flush against the wall, it is completely unobtrusive. The room instantly feels so much larger, and the frosted glass lets a lot of natural light flow through while still maintaining full privacy.

I highly recommend it for bedroom or en-suites.

Good option, though sometimes room design excludes the use of a sliding door

What does it look like in your house though?

I note that you lifted the image from the sellers site.

Did you remove the door liner and plasterboard the opening first?

Sliding doors are definitely space saving, but in some cases a pocket door might be a better option in terms of fire rating (?) and noise/smell transfer/leakage.

The one in your image however looks good.
