Swim goggles help

Never really looked into those, I would worry that it will get broken in my bsuitcase, could put it in mybhand luggage carry on I suppose
stuff it with socks and pants.

I found them quite good and it has a GoPro mount from memory.

I have these and conventional mask. You can’t swim fast underwater with them but they are great for exploring
They're rubbish, leak after a few swims.
This kid of mask, unless you buy the high end ones for lots of money, are just for one trip to the seaside.
They look the right kind of thing. Probably will go for clear lenses
Yes, I have the clear lenses and vision is spectacular.
Make sure you never rub the lenses with anything rather than your fingers after spitting on them.
Not joking

I thought that one was high end at £60

Is it the anti fog coating then that is supper delicate and scratches.

LOL.
No, that's cheap Chinese rubbish.
High end go for hundreds.

Yes, it's not super delicate, but it's easily scratched.
Treat your goggles well and they'll last a long time
Rinse after use and let dry at room temperature.
Keep them in their hard case so they don't deform.
Let us know how it goes with the Rift.
Happy swimming!

Do you use any anti mist product or just some nice spit -- or is that what is in the anti mist spray:oops:

I use the anti fog spray on my diving mask.
On goggles just spit and it works exactly the same.
Spit, let it rest for 1 minute, rinse with water you're dipping into, wear and go.

Thanks - They have arrived and a quick dry test they seem to form a good vacuum seal. I read some reviews saying that when swimming and turning your head for a breath they tend to leak. But I wont be doing any of that kind of swimming, just floating on top with or without a snorkel and occasionality diving down no more than 3m

Mine never leaked and I breath tilting my head.
Maybe if you have a very narrow face they won't seal properly on the sides.

I will see how it goes it may be a case of trying different ones but these are a massive upgrade to what I had.
