Swim goggles help

UPDATE after testing in water. It leaks a little around the nose somewhere I have tried slightly different positions on my face and different tightnesses on the strap.
Although it leaks a little I think I can live with it because the area in the mask is much bigger than the goggles and so the small amount of water in there is not a problem.

Warm them up with an hairdryer and whilst warm, stick the goggles to your face and wait until cool.

Honestly almost anything is going to feel like an upgrade from the Aldi ones

If you’re mainly swimming in the sea and occasionally diving down a bit, I’d probably look for goggles with:

* softer seals
* wider field of view
* slightly tinted/mirrored lenses for sunlight
* decent strap adjustment so they don’t leak every time you move

I do a similar kind of casual sea swimming/snorkelling and I’ve actually had pretty good luck with the MADE WAVE Alien Mirror goggles lately. They’re not super “racing” style so they stay comfortable longer and seal pretty well even when moving around a lot in open water.

Biggest thing though is fit — one person’s perfect goggles are another person’s leaky nightmare
