Switch Help

Hi,

If a switch is marked A1, A2, B1, B2 instead of L1, L2, Common does that mean it is an intermediate switch?

Intermediate switch connections usually L1-L2 L2-L1 but could also be A1 .A2 B1 B2 as you describe i suppose. The easiest way would be to bell it out if your not sure ..

How many terminals does it have and in what configuration?

Or it may be a double pole switch.

It would have taken less time to use a multimeter or continuity tester to check what the switch does than to log on here and post the question.

So I hope that doesn't mean that you don't have a multimeter or continuity tester.....
