Hi
We have a Nexus 8 alarm and an error code of t1. The alarm was working up until Monday when the alarm went off and the t1 code appeared. We have had a look at alarm keypad and discovered the wires were caked in silicone where the decorator had filled a gap and the silicone had seeped. We have removed the silicone as best as we can but the error code is still present. We have powered down the power and this hasnt reset as we hoped it would. Are we able to reset the keypad so that the tamper error disappears or are we looking at sourcing an engineer.
Thanks

Old obsolete control panel.
Tamper fault could be lid/cover not on correctly
Problem with beĺ box
Possible faulty battery.
Remove battery and see if fault disappears ensuring control panel lid fitted back correctly.
If still present then items wiĺ need to be linked out to determine fault.
