t5 High frequency?

Can someone tell me if all T5 lighting is high frequency?
I was under the impression that it was. I have been looking at the Sylvania LS200 range from Screwfix. The sales assistant has advised me that "As far as he is aware" they are not. so it would be great if someone could advise me on; what to buy, and from where

No, it is not all High frequency, you can get bog standard T5 flourescent fittings with ballasts in them.

Them fittings usually have inside a long printed circuit board, rather than a ballast.

The spec does say there High Frequency

emergency lights are 8w T5 and sometimes have ballasts but not seen any small enough to go in them slim fittings.
