Hi,
first post. I've got a shower to put in on a mains pressure system which involves a longish awkward run through a crawl space. I want to use copper, but it is going to be almost impossible to make any joints in the run. Can I use table Y annealed copper tube to avoid joins? Is this OK on mains pressure?
Also, the water heating is an unvented system, so I know I can't work on the cylinder/safety valves etc, but I assume I can still add the shower supply teeing into the existing hot and balanced cold pipework myself.

All assumptions correct, but most would use plastic pipe there. You can put it in with the help of a fishing device, cable stylie.
Table Y copper is fine till it kinks!

thanks for the quick reply Chris.
for the second part of my bathroom refurb, I have to add a radiator and move a basin. What are the regs these days regards burying the pipes for these in a floor screed. The rad pipes would be plastic coated 10mm, and for the basin hot and cold I was thinking blue plastic coated table Y 15mm.

Hot and cold waterpipes must be in a duct or flexible conduit.

do a google on hep barrierpipe in conduit (cxxx) I think
