Tablet from Carphone warehouse

I have not tried the cheap ones. The reviews are mixed. But I would invest the £50 towards a Nexus 7.

I have got one of those (the Mk. I) and it is excellent.

The Nexus 7 16GB is £160 at Argos. Not sure whether Mk I or MK II.

Read this review on the Avoca.

It does not come out well, but, for £50, you don't expect ipad quality.

Or a Kindle fire HD.16gb is the same price £159.

Check out the hudl from tesco. Its very well specced (similar to the mark 1 nexus 7) and £120. If you have club card points then you can get 2 for 1 vouchers and get it for £60.

Got to admit that's a cracking price and the Kindle's not a bad piece of kit either.

32GB as well.

I suppose they are all much of a muchness and its down to your budget, at least no one as mentioned the over inflated fruit thing.

Seems to be a few budget tablets being released at the mo, as well as the tesco one asda and argos have just announced theirs

If you want a budget tablet, maybe to do some 'on the move' work stuff like me then these are ideal

Don't forget that many of the cheaper ones will probably never get OS updates.
