Hi,
can anyone advise on the best way to remove a fitted carpet from the grippa without causing damage to the carpet itself. Also the door plates currently fitted do not have any screws or visible fastenings- could anybody advise the best method of removal of this type of door plate.
Thanks for any assistance.

To remove your carpets it is best to lift them upwards at the edge and avoid pulling them backwards. The nails on the grippers point backwards and by lifting the carpet high and parrallel to the wall it will lift them off the nails and not into them. The carpet will need to be pulled out from the door plates carefully and then you will be able to get to the fastenings below. They are similar to gripper rods with the backward pointing nails so again lift the carpet high off the nails.
